Don’t Trust The Title!

“Just because someone  holds a title or is in a prominent position doesn’t mean that they are qualified but,  infers they possess the foundational tools for success.  According to Murphy’s Law, every man (or woman) rises to their level of incompetence; and what they do with that level makes a world of difference.  A spiritual leader with a position has not arrived, but have just arrived to their next training ground. While it may allow you the responsibility to lead others, it does absolve you of the responsibility of leading yourself.”  (excerpted from “The Deception of Spiritual Leadership” by Karen Maloy)

  1. BEFORE ONE IS ABLE TO LEAD OTHERS THEY MUST BE ABLE TO TAKE CORRECTION AND CHASTISEMENT FROM GOD BUT THROUGH ANOTHER LEADER. THE PROBLEM TODAY ID SO MANY LEADERS ARE GIVEN TITLE AND HAVE NOT WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS. THEY JUST WANT A TITLE. BUT AFTER THEY GET THE TITLE AND TRIAL AND STORMS START COMING INTO THEIR LIVES THEN THEY ARE READY TO GIVE UP. AS FAR AS THE MURPHY LAW. THAT’S ABOUT MAN AND NOT GOD . WHEN GOD TRAINS YOU AND ORDAIN YOU. MAN CANT TOUCH YOU. MY ADVICE IS DONT TAKE ON A RESPONSIBLITY THAT YOU DONT QUALIFY FOR.

  2. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree wholeheartedly about what you say about those leaders who are given a title before they are tried. In addition, you have those leaders who have not completed the process and their personal lives are representative of that. Am I correct in assuming that you are saying that God trains you and then ordains you or can we also say that God calls and then qualifies?
