Introducing MB Success Academy – Digital Learning Pod
MB Success Academy – A private year-round academy for grades K – 12. The Academy provides an accredited, comprehensive online academic program for any student who wants a more flexible learning schedule and/or structure. Many students struggle within a traditional classroom. Some have fallen behind in credits or just might struggle with learning differences. Other students simply prefer the flexibility of an online education. Whatever their reason/s, MB Success Academy – Virtual provides the individualized attention that each student needs.
Students can sign up for one class, one semester, or complete their school requirements through MB Success Academy Homeschool. This is a program intended to aid homeschooled students. Students may be enrolled in up to 7 courses at a time from numerous courses (grades PreK-12). Students can learn at their own pace under the supervision and assistance of an experienced online instructor.
Upon enrollment, students receive the following services so that an individualized learning plan can be developed:
- · Pre-test assessment in some classes that help to determine student proficiencies and areas that require remediation
- · Credit evaluation
- · Academic counseling
- · College and career counseling
Students are provided with core classes and electives, and most importantly, support from an Educational Specialist. Many online programs simply make the curriculum available for students to navigate on their own, but MB Success Academy is different. Students are provided opportunities to interact with other students within a Digital Learning Pod and an instructor daily within a Zoom classroom. Proctoring is included in the cost when it occurs during regular school hours. Additional tutoring and mentoring are offered at additional costs if necessary.
